The caption on the photo also makes you feel like you should use it because it is not harmful to the environment and provides something to you. They also don't state the price in the caption or anywhere in the photo, giving you an idea that they are not doing it for themselves.

This picture I saw on Instagram shows the lip balm next to items that represent comfort. The candle, tea, book, and blanket all fit in a category of self-care, making someone also think that the lip balm would do something beneficial to them. It almost seems essential to someone to have this, and provides the feeling of completion to an aesthetic.
The product they are trying to sell is seamlessly integrated into this photo, blending with all of the other colors. The option of putting our name on it makes it satisfy our needs for comfort, so I can see that they put thought into their advertisement in order to make it seem natural for someone to invest in this. They also give you different options, making us search for things and actually go on the website.
By just glancing at this ad, I would usually scroll by without noticing that they do put in a serious amount of effort. There are a lot of components to this ad, relating to the Madison & Vine method.
